The Seven Last Words of Christ with Fr. Rob Ramser

Father Rob and our Music Ministry Reflect on the Journey of the Cross

We bear our cross with the help of God’s grace so we can ultimately share in the fullness of life and salvation with Christ forever in Heaven. Starting on Ash Wednesday, watch for these inspiring reflections that will help you reflect and pray throughout the Season of Lent.

The “O” Antiphons

Join Father Rob Ramser for a few minutes each day that can stir in us the Hope and Promise of Christmas.

The Roman Church has been singing the “O” Antiphons since at least the eighth century. They are the antiphons that accompany the Magnificat canticle of Evening Prayer from December 17-23. They are a magnificent theology that uses ancient biblical imagery drawn from the messianic hopes of the Old Testament to proclaim the coming Christ as the fulfillment not only of Old Testament hopes, but present ones as well. Their repeated use of the imperative “Come!” embodies the longing of all for the Divine Messiah.

All Saints Day Video Reflections

“Four All the Saints” by Father Rob Ramser

“All you holy men and women pray for us.”  In the Litany of Saints we recall and reflect on the lives of those who have gone before us in faith.  Saints are role models in the life of faith.  They inspire us by the way they made their faithful ‘yes’ to the Lord.  They encourage us to want to do the same.  As we remember the Feast of All Saints, we reflect on the four saints whose ‘stones’ surround the Altar of our Church.  They remind us how we are called to live, love and serve so that we can be holy, saintly people in our time and in this place.

Father Rob Ramser will help us reflect on the saints and the call to holiness.  Watch…Listen…Reflect.

Doing the Work of the Lord

Four Part Reflection by Father Rob Ramser

On Labor Day we will begin a new set of spiritual reflections by Father Rob Ramser.  He will be focusing on the monthly theme for our parish community – doing the work of the Lord.   The second reading from the letters to the Romans (above) really sums up our work…our mission…the Lord’s great command(ment).   Join Father Rob as he offers four short reflections to help us reflect on how to live out this ‘work’ that is asked of us by the Lord.

Preparing for Pentecost

As we prepare for the Feast of Pentecost, we’ve asked Father Rob Ramser to lead us in a series of online reflections and prayers to help us keep our hearts and minds open to God’s Spirit. His Divine Mercy was so well received, let him help you/us prepare and focus our hearts on the gifts and promise of the Spirit.
Videos will begin on Monday, May 25. Please visit this page to watch.
