Your care for those in need, and your support for our parish, is/was/continues to be both amazingly thoughtful and a blessing beyond words. May you know the outpouring of God’s blessing in your life.
…The move this weekend to Hilkert Hall for Mass went very well. Many of our members commented:
…I wasn’t cold.
…The sound system was so much better than the Church. I could hear.
…It was bright!
…It really is going to be refreshing.
…It was also beautiful to see so many members go into the Church and write names, memories and prayers on the floor of the Church for perpetuity. Truly a blessing!
…As you look to the New Year and make some resolutions…consider one way that you can serve the Lord and our parish community in the new year.
We could use some help in the areas listed below:
…Ushers for weekend Masses
…Visiting the homebound with Holy Communion
All of these opportunities to serve come with training, flexibility, and great people. To learn more, or to offer to help, please send an email to: frbob@StAmbrose.us. We need YOU!!
…Want to do something amazing in 2019 – consider reflecting, strengthening and celebrating your marriage. World Marriage Day Mass and Reception will take place on Saturday, February 9 at 6 pm. It’s free…it’s easy…it’s a great way to do something amazingly good in the new year.
…January 1 is the World Day of Prayer for Peace…the first day of the year…and the Solemnity of Mary.
It’s a holy day of obligation, and even more, it’s the best way to start the new year. Join us for Mass on December 31 at 4:30 pm and 6 pm and on January 1 at 9 am and 10:30 am. Join us as we start 2019 together for the glory of God and in prayer for stronger families, more loving marriages and a more peaceful world.
Thank you for all you have done for our parish community in 2018. By God’s grace – and your goodness – our future is bright and blessed.
