Prayer at the Heart (PATH) is a national movement that is linked by the mission ‘to ignite a great awakening through a national movement of humble, unified, desperate prayer and action.’
Did you know that Ohio is the only state that has a scripture for its state motto!? It’s true, the Ohio state motto is: “With God, all things are possible.” – MATTHEW 19:26. In line with JOHN 17:23, the vision is for thousands of Christians, from every ‘tribe, tongue, and age group’ to link arms in our unity in Jesus Christ. The NE Ohio PATH Pilot will do this by mobilizing local churches and ministries to pray and share God’s love and light across NE Ohio through acts of loving kindness and verbal witness.
The participation of our parish community is important and is a great way to continue our promise to live an Every Day God life. Our parish will warmly welcome all (members and nonmembers) to link arms during the 40-day period of serving and blessing the “lost and broken,” especially those within our area.
A “Tent of Meeting” (TOM) is a safe neutral place where people can experience God’s love in practical ways, such as help and prayer for addicts, the mentally ill, marriage and families etc., and during times of gentle praise, worship and prayer.
TOM events take place in four time slots each day beginning May 8 through June 16, 2023. The daily schedule is as follows:
- 9:00 am – 11:30 am: Specialist care and prayer
- 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm: Gentle praise and worship
- 3:00 pm – 5:30 pm: Specialist Care and Prayer
- 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm: Gentle Praise and Worship.
Each day, Saint Ambrose will focus will be on two ministries (for examples, see the graphic below) that need our attention/awareness and prayer. For the detailed daily schedule that includes the ministries of focus for the day, visit the PATH TOM Schedule for Saint Ambrose Parish.
