We pray for those who serve to protect us!

Every week at Saint Ambrose we remember, and lift up to God, all who protect us and faithfully serve our community and country.
National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day is Wednesday, January 9, 2019.  It’s a special moment for us to pray for – and show our appreciation for – those who serve our community.

There are several ways you can participate:

  • On Saint Ambrose Facebook Page, there will be a special image/post which you can share so that everyone can pray for and remember these public servants.
  • Please send us the names of your family/friends who are currently serving in Law Enforcement.  We will include them in the bulletin on January 12/13 inviting our entire parish to hold them close to God in prayer.
  • Invite your family/friends to join you for Mass at Saint Ambrose on January 12/13 as we include a special prayer of blessing for those in law enforcement and offer them a special gift on behalf of our community.
  • Please remember to pray daily for those who serve to protect us.  May God keep them, and all of us, in His constant care.  May each of us be instruments of God’s peace.
  • Most importantly, if you see a police officer, thank a police officer.
