Senior Ministry Announcement Name Change!
It’s a new year and the senior ministry has switched up its name a little. Inspired by this classic, iconic piece of America, we are going to incorporate the flavor and fun of Route 66 into our senior ministry. Route 66 captures our life journey, our faith journey, the things we’ve seen and those who have traveled that road with us. For more information, please reach out to Joyce Osowski and Jim Rauschenbach.
Senior Strength Training
Seniors, we are looking to resume our strength training sessions in March. Those involved have had a great time meeting these challenging workouts. We are looking for both more participants and the best time to hold these workouts. We are open to moving the time and the day of the week as long as workouts remain in the morning hours. Please contact Jim Rauschenbach by email or at 850.443.2207 to let him know you are interested so that we can keep you in the loop on the upcoming session.
Every Wednesday morning at 9:00am in the Mother Teresa Room
Feel incredible health benefits of gentle, safe stretching. Yoga is an excellent way for older adults to loosen and stretch painful muscles, reduce stress, and improve circulation. It also reduces anxiety, helps lower blood pressure, protects joints, and builds strength and balance.
Enjoy stretching while sitting on a chair, and using a chair for balance while doing standing movements. It’s a comfortable environment. Come try it out!
