Mental Health Emergencies are Not the time to be alone! \nSaint Ambrose CARES. Join us as we learn in Christian community how to respond to Mental Health Emergencies. \n  \nFor Whom: Parish staff\, ministry leaders\, individuals\, families who deal with mental health emergencies \nWhat: Learn about Mental Health Emergencies - what you need to know\, to say\, and to do in the moment. \n  \nWe will learn about and practice effective responses working with: \n· Crises Intervention Teams (CIT’s) - trained police officers who assist in handling & de-escalating mental health crisis \n· Helplines – Numbers to call that direct individuals & families to mental health resources \n· 988 line – Number to call in a mental health emergency; receive a script and practice what to say \n· Suicide Response Teams – Trained professionals & groups who serve families when a suicide has occurred \n  \nTrainers: Saint Ambrose Mental Health Ministry Leaders Lisa and Dobie Moser and Psychologist Dr. Egardo Padin \n  \nRSVP by May 15 using the form or emailing Jennie Porco at JPorco@StAmbrose.us.
