What is Alpha?

Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith. Each session looks at a different question and is designed to create conversation. There's no pressure, no follow-up, and no charge - it's just an open, informal, and honest space to explore and discuss life's big questions together.

Alpha is for anyone who is curious. The talks are designed to encourage conversation and explore the Christian faith in a friendly, open, and informal environment. No question is out of bounds, and you are free to discuss as much or as little as you wish.

Topics Covered

Alpha explores the biggest questions of life and faith. Each session includes food, a short talk, and a time for discussion where you can share your thoughts and ask questions. The Alpha series includes:

Is there more to life than this?
Who is Jesus?
Why did Jesus die?
How can I have faith?
Why and how do I pray?
Why and how should I read the Bible?
How does God guide us?
Who is the Holy Spirit?
What does the Holy Spirit do?
How can I be filled with the Holy Spirit?
How can I resist evil?
Does God heal today?
What about the church?

How Alpha Works

Food

We start with a meal together because it's a great way to build community and get to know each other.

Talk

The talks are designed to inspire conversation and explore the big questions of life and faith.

Discussion

The most important part! Small group discussion time where you can share your thoughts and questions.

Each Alpha session follows this simple format. You'll gather with others over a meal, watch a short video presentation, and then break into small groups for discussion. There's no obligation to say anything - you can share as much or as little as you like. It's a safe space to explore faith, ask questions, and discuss what you really think about life's big questions.

Who Should Attend?

Alpha is for anyone who is curious about faith. You might:
