Women's Ministry
About Us
The Saint Ambrose Women's Guild welcomes all with joyful hospitality, serves with the compassion of Christ, engages and empowers all, augures with prayer, and strengthens our faith community.
The Guild was created by our first Pastor, Father Paul Larner, within the first year of the inception of our parish. It originally served as the Parent Organization for the school until the formation of the Parents/Teachers Organization in the 1970's.
We help serve the changing needs of the parish. With over 300 members, we further the interests of the Saint Ambrose community through our events. Among those events are luncheons, baking and sewing events, quilting marathons, socials, and a Christmas boutique.
Membership is open to all ladies, of any age, of our parish.
Ministry meetings are held every 2nd Wednesday of every month at 7:00 pm in Marist Hall (unless otherwise specified).
The Women's Guild serves the parish community through a variety of events and activities throughout the year:

Walking with Purpose 2025-2026
Connect your life to the Gospel through our year-long Bible study program. Walking with Purpose helps women discover their unique purpose by offering a personal encounter with Jesus Christ.
Studies include lessons on opening your heart, accepting God's healing, and living as a beloved daughter of God.

The Gospel According to Mary & Martha
Join us for an inspiring study of two of the Bible's most beloved women. Through the stories of Mary and Martha, we'll explore themes of hospitality, discipleship, and sitting at the feet of Jesus.
This study provides practical insights for balancing the active and contemplative aspects of our faith lives.
Beads of Hope Women's Rosary Group
Praying for all intents of moms and all women in our parish.
Join us for weekly rosary prayer, fellowship, and spiritual support. All women are welcome to participate in this beautiful prayer ministry.

WOW Coffee Connect
Women of Wisdom gather for casual conversation, fellowship, and faith sharing over coffee.
