What can we help you find?

We are so blessed to be together at Saint Ambrose! Our parish is alive in Christ, filled with God’s Spirit, and our wonderful members are united together by the love of the Lord. Every day you can see - and feel - the goodness and the energy of our members as we come together in prayer and service. Together, by God’s grace, we are strengthening the bonds of faith and family. We are blessed.

Our future is bright and hopeful. Our ‘best problems’ stem from the reality that we don’t have enough parking, as well as large enough meeting rooms and work spaces to support all that we do every day at Saint Ambrose.

Over the past two years, we have worked with over 1,000 of our members and Marous Brothers Construction to develop a comprehensive ten-year plan to help maintain our current facilities and to create the needed space (like parking) to support our active parish community.

In order to help us address our needs, we are launching a five-year capital campaign called “Together in Christ – faith, family, our future.” With your support, we look to raise capital funds to address the priorities and needs outlined below.

Over the next few months, we will be sharing more and more information about our efforts and this important undertaking for the good of our parish and for the glory of God.

VISION 2035

VISION 2035 HISTORY

For Clarity:
Vision 2035 is the 10 Year Campus Plan. Together In Christ, our capital campaign, is the first step in helping us raise the funds to start working and implementing the Vision 2035 plan.

Vision 2035

Saint Ambrose Vision 2035

In early 2024, the Vision 2035 Committee was formed to explore the program and facility needs of our parish for the next 10 years.

The leadership team of Vision 2035 has been entrusted with the process of assessing our parish campus/facilities; listening to and reviewing parish ministry needs, and creating a master facility and campus plan for our community that responds to these needs over the next ten years.

The Vision 2035

PROCESS WILL...

Call upon the Holy Spirit to guide our parish community as we discern and plan for our future.

Build on the foundation of the Vision 2020 process (which started in 2010) that allowed our parish to imagine and develop the Saint Ambrose campus we know today.

Engage as many parish leaders and members as possible in the process of assessing, listening, and planning.

Use the Vision 2035 process to create effective, efficient and fiscally responsible plans which maximize current facilities and are responsive and reasonable to addressing our future needs.

Inform, educate and communicate with our members over the next six-months so that at the conclusion of the Vision 2035 process, our entire parish community should have a clear understanding of the campus and facility repairs, and capital expenses that need to be addressed over the next ten years, along with our campus and facility needs to support our growing and thriving community of faith.

Be inspiring!!! Our parish is best when we are together. Our parish is best when we allow the Spirit to stir our hearts and conversations. Together for the glory of God.

Plan Presented on August 25, 2025

On Monday, August 25th, the Vision 2035 Steering Committee presented the results and renderings the process that began in early 2024. Last fall, the committee selected Marous Brothers Construction to lead the Master planning Process that looked at the ongoing capital needs of the parish along with current and future building needs. Through this process, the committee facilitated over 30 focus groups and town hall meetings and heard from over 1,000 members!

The feedback was highly valuable and led to the creation of the Vision 2035 Master Plan that includes:

Parking lot expansion to the north: this will serve as dedicated school parking and recess space during the school day and overflow parking for evenings and weekends, while improving traffic flow for school pick up and drop off.

Capital repairs that incorporate necessary repairs now, while being mindful of future additions or renovations (ie, tuckpointing, roof repair, new HVAC, etc.)

Additional, right size meeting space through an addition onto the Lehner Center and Mother Teresa Room including adding onto the service hallway to create additional storage space. These additional meeting rooms will be able to accommodate our ministries that have outgrown the current space.

Renovating and upgrading the Hilkert Hall Kitchen. The existing kitchen was designed to serve school lunch and host occasional events almost 25 years ago. Our parish, and the number of meals we serve each month and through our different events has increased greatly over the years, and we need a kitchen that can keep up with our needs.

Adding space to the north side of Hilkert Hall. This would include a stage space for the many parish and school concerts and events we host as well as provide an improved, elevated platform for Christmas and Easter Mass.

Connecting the school with the gym and Parish Life Center. Connecting the buildings would increase safety for school children during the day and allow for members to access the different buildings without being outside in the elements.

  1. Adding 6 school classrooms. These classrooms would create brand new STEAM space that could be utilized by the school during the day, while creating additional space for parish ministries in the evening.

Flip through our Master Plan renderings!

While these renderings capture the high level vision and idea for vision 2035, they are not blue prints or final plans. These are the starting point to create the vision for what our parish and school community can look like if we all choose to work together.
