Picnic in the Park

Tuesday, July 14, 2026
6:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Pawpaw Picnic Area
NW Corner of W 130th and Valley Pkwy in Mill Stream Run MetroPark

Followed by a 7:00 pm hike with the Holy Hiking group (optional)

All are welcome to a picnic in the park to celebrate the Feast Day of Saint Kateri Tekakwitha, the first Native American saint. Round up the family, grab a meal, drinks and picnic blanket or camping chairs; (only 2 picnic tables at the location) and immerse yourself in God's creation. You will learn about Saint Kateri, a patron saint of ecology, environment and indigenous peoples, and hear of what is occurring locally regarding creation care in the Church and in our local community. Consider hiking the easy Pawpaw trail with the Holy Hiking group starting at 7 pm.
