About This Ministry

Since its founding in 1985, the Good Samaritan Ministry has been one of the longest-standing and most cherished ministries at Saint Ambrose. Faithful volunteers carry out a mission of compassionate presence by bringing the Eucharist to the homebound and hospitalized, visiting those who are ill or recovering, and offering prayer, companionship, and attentive listening. With gentle hearts and a spirit of service, they extend Christ’s love to parishioners who cannot gather with the community in person. Through these personal visits, the Good Samaritans provide comfort, strengthen faith, and remind each person they remain a valued and connected part of the parish family.
