Walking In Faith
Weddings and Baptisms in the Midst of A Pandemic Covid times may be here with us, changing life as we know it...but it's so comforting to know that the important things in life still carry on. It's so wonderful to see people still coming to the Lord for their sacraments. We are in full swing of Weddings and Baptisms. Things may look different with our Wedding Preparation and our Baptism classes, but our ministries are [...]
Medina Hospital Visitation Policy
Patients Can Receive the Eucharist Our Good Samaritans Ministry is an amazing group of people who donate their time to visit patients in the hospital. Deacon Frank has continued to stay in touch with Medina Hospital and has been able to give the gift of the Eucharist when patients have requested it. If you have a friend or family member in the hospital, please make sure they know that they can receive communion if they [...]
Good News from Fr. Bob!
God bless one of our members, Patty Lewis. She had the great idea to have our weekly bulletins available right by the drive by offertory mailbox! We hope that you enjoy the bulletin that keep you updated on all the latest news at Saint Ambrose and remind you our Future is Full of Hope! Plus, details about this weekend. Enjoy!
Stewardship at Saint Ambrose
There is a Ministry for Everyone... As good Stewards of God, it is important for us to offer up our time, talent and treasure in all that we do to care not only for our community, parish, but our world. “As each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God’s varied grace.” – 1 Peter 4:10 God has blessed us each with different gifts and talents. It [...]
Catholic Charities June Results
You Continue To Amaze Us! Thank you! Your support of the Annual Appeal has made a difference, especially as the needs of our communities continue to grow during COVID-19. Because of your generosity, people who are hungry and homeless, addicted and struggling, lonely, sick and hurting will have the services available to assist them during the pandemic and have hope for the future. You can find stories of hope and faith when you visit www.CatholicCommunity.org/COVIDVideo. [...]
Peanut Butter & Jelly Sandwiches
The Need For These Sandwiches is REAL And the need is two-fold. First, there are more people (especially kids) who need the lunch/meal. Secondly, lots of the normal sources of food for hunger centers has slowed down immensely. For example, our parish typically has some sort of event every weekend. All the leftovers get packaged up and sent to Hunger Centers. Since we haven’t had any events for months, they haven’t received any of our [...]
Masters of Ceremony
Each year at the Holy Thursday Mass, we select some of our most faithful ‘servers’ and commission them as MC’s (Masters of Ceremony). It’s our way of recognizing their commitment and service to the Lord. This past Sunday, we were able to have their commissioning at the Sunday Mass. These servers represent some of the best Altar Servers we have at Saint Ambrose. As an “MC”, they will be asked to serve some of the [...]
Counting Through Covid
Our Counting Crew Is Amazing! I guess we could call the group of volunteers who help with the Sunday Collection each week another one of the “blessings” at Saint Ambrose. Envelopes are many, and so are the number who spend their time each Monday morning slitting, sorting, counting and adding. Many ‘kudos’ to Patty Lewis (under self quarantine) who leads and organizes the schedules for everyone and assures that each Monday I never have to [...]

On difficult days, every day, Jesus says “Come to Me.”
“Come to me, all you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest." - Matthew 11:28 Finding peace and comfort in the midst of loss can often feel impossible. We were delivered with some difficult news this week and Fr. Bob, along with all of us at Saint Ambrose want to offer comfort and courage to help as we face these difficult times. Please call us if you need additional support, we are [...]
