We Need Each Other Now More Than Ever
In this confusing time, we are more dependent on each other than we’ve ever been before. Many of us are wondering what we can do to help those around us. Here are a few things that you can do to help families and individuals who need it most:
Donate To Catholic Works Of Mercy
In this time of great uncertainty and confusion, our parish is here to help you through these times. Our Catholic Works of Mercy team will continue with their weekly food distributions- every Wednesday from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. They are taking every precaution to do this in a safe manner. Because of the uncertainty, layoffs and shutdowns during this time, we are in the need of additional food donations: peanut butter and jelly, tuna, canned soups and vegetables, pasta, spaghetti sauce, rice and other perishable foods will be collected inside the narthex (connector between the church and PLC) between 9:00 am – 6:00 pm. Please drop off your donations here and we will take care of getting these items to those families in need.
Grocery Shop Or Run Errands
If you or someone you know could use some extra help during this time, we are here to help in whatever way we can. We have volunteers who are able to do some grocery shopping and/or additional errands for you if you are at risk of going out. Or, if you are able to help in any way, please let us know. Please contact Lisa at [email protected] or call our front office at 330.460.7300 and let us know how we can help.
