  •  Join a Lent Faith Sharing Group
  • Use a Little Black Book
  • Come to Adoration Mondays (9:00 am-9:00 pm) or Ministry of Praise Prayer Group Tuesdays (7:00-8:30 pm)
  • Make a sacrifice or do something for your spiritual growth
  • Participate in our Mission Rice Bowl campaign
  • Read the Bible daily
  • Commit to going to Confession

Lenten Family Movie Nights

Every Friday Night

Back by popular demand, our Lenten Family Movie Nights will again be in the PLC Mother Teresa room every Friday during Lent. Join us after the Friday Night Fish Fries for Christian movies that will inspire you. Our movies—including new films such as Miracles from Heaven and I’m Not Ashamed—will begin approximately at 7:45 pm.

Men’s Renewal Weekend 2018

March 3 and 4

The Holy Spirit is inviting you to join with a small group of people to renew the flames of your faith. This weekend is open to men of Saint Ambrose Parish over the age of 19. Space is limited, so register early! The weekend is meant to renew your own faith. However, you will get to know others in the parish and be able to see them at parish activities for many years to come.

Women’s Renewal 2018

March 17 and 18

We listened to many women who asked where and when renewal for them will be offered after their husband/friend/son/boyfriend attended their special time. They too want to experience what they came home with. Watch for information in bulletin and parish website soon. Ladies make this time for yourself and Christ. Signup!

Bunny Brunch

Mark your calendars for our annual Bunny Brunch! Join us as we celebrate the Easter season at Saint Ambrose with family and friends. Delicious food, holiday crafts, and the Easter Bunny will be on hand. You won’t want to miss this GREAT event!

Ash Wednesday Mass Schedule

Fasting and Abstinence

Catholics between the ages of 18 and 59 are called to fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday; one full meal or two smaller meals are permitted. Catholics 14 years of age and up are to abstain from meat on all Fridays during Lent.

The Sacrament of Penance

Christ is generous in His mercy and forgiveness and Lent is the perfect time to experience the love of God for us through the Sacrament of Penance. Whether you go every month of haven’t been to Confession in years, we warmly welcome you to participate in this beautiful Sacrament:

  • Every Saturday, from 3:30-4:00 pm
  • Wednesday, February 28 (Diocesan Evening of Penance), from 5:00-8:00 pm
  • Friday March 23rd from 1:00-2:30pm
  • Palm Sunday, March 25th from 6:30- 8:00pm
  • …or anytime by appointment.

Adoration & Chapel Hours

Spend time in prayer with the Lord over these 40 days.

6:00 am until 10:00 pm Mondays-Fridays
6:30 am until 8:00 pm, Saturdays
6:00 am until 7:00 pm, Sundays

Every Monday from 9:00 am-9:00 pm

In a special way, we invite you to worship Christ during our all-night Adoration on Holy Thursday into Good Friday. After Holy Thursday’s 7:30 pm Mass of the Lord’s Supper, Adoration will take place in the PLC Mother Teresa Room. This will last until 8:15 am Morning Prayer on Good Friday.
