A few months ago we selected the book, “Love is Patient but I’m Not” by Christopher West as the Easter gift book for 2020! At the time we could never have imagined how all of us would be challenged and pressed to be more ‘patient’ with ourselves…with our family…with life.
While we all like things ‘in a particular way’ and want to be in ‘control’ of our reality, the events of these past few weeks clearly remind us that we are only in control of ourselves, and how we respond to the situation, we find our self.
It’s an easy, insightful and thought-provoking book to read. It’s also a gift to you from one of our members. Pick one up for yourself and those other ‘impatient’ people in your life in the lobby of the Parish Life Center .
