Marriage: Couple to Couple Ministry

Our Couple to Couple Ministry is thriving at St. Ambrose. Weddings are a beautiful expression of how the love of one person to another person mirrors Christ’s love of His Church. The Couple to Couple Ministers walk with our engaged couples at St. Ambrose on their journey to the alter in their vocation of marriage. Along that journey are great discussions of marriage and parenting expectations, the lifestyle of couples, friends and family, and communication.

It was a delight to be with our couples this past January as they learned about the Sacrament of Marriage, and what their vows mean to each other at our Mini Pre-Cana Wedding Fair. It was clear to see throughout the morning how God moves through the covenant the brides and grooms will form with Him. By giving of themselves to each other freely, fully, fruitfully, and totally…they will be living out God’s vocation he has led them to.
