MCHD encourages citizens to use the Armorvax app for registering to receive the COVID vaccine from Health Department clinics.

If you know someone age 65-79, MCHD is imploring you to provide assistance to these individuals who can register to receive the COVID vaccine from a Health Department clinic through the mobile app. Again, this app/website is only for those who want to be vaccinated at Health Department clinics.  Other providers will have a different process.

Additionally to note, ff you are 80+ who have called or left a message at the Health Department, MCHD has asked the parish to reassure you that MCHD does have your name already. Please do not call again but be assured, the MCHD does have your name if you have already talked to an MCHD representative.
