Every Day…God.

Our theme for 2023 is a powerful and important reminder that every day we need to walk with God.  We need His help, wisdom, strength and peace.  It’s a daily choice to turn to the Lord.  It’s also a powerful reminder that every day is a gift and blessing.   Every day…God.

The past few days have been marked with great sadness for our local community as we share in the loss of one of the Brunswick Middle School students.  The tragic, painful and unexpected loss reminds us over and again that each day is a gift and blessing and each day we need to embrace with love those God has entrusted to our care.  Over and again I remind our students to hug their parents every day.  Parents, every day, you need to hug and hold your child(ren) close.  They need to know and feel your constant love, care and concern.

Some good pieces of information:

  • Saint Ambrose will be having a Prayer Service on Monday evening at 6:30 pm for our community.   It will be an opportunity for you and your child(ren) to come together in prayer asking for God’s healing and peace for the family who lost their loved one.  It’s a special way for classmates, family and friends to come together to find support, strength and peace.  All are welcome.

  • Our community CARES (Concerned + Alert + Responsive == Everyone Safe).   As always, if you or someone you know needs some help, support or guidance, we are here to help. We have very active Mental Health, Stephen Ministry and Grief Support teams for children and adults.   If you have a need, and/or we can be of help, never hesitate to contact me at the Parish Office (330.460.7300) or email:  (frbob@StAmbrose.us).

Lord God,
